ATON AOYAMA

The project site located in Tokyo was a simple space with an exposed concrete finish. We felt that by giving touches to this existing square space with a high ceiling, we would be able to create an atmosphere which will fit the world of “ATON”. It was a space that coincides with the detailed clothing “ATON” created from organic materials, dye and textile production. The existing floor was polished, and the existing ceiling of the site was used as much as possible. By plotting the minimum functions needed gently into the symmetric designed space, we aimed to create a store which directly portrays the ideas of the brand.
