BLUES

A small hair salon situated on the third floor of a building. As a salon requires a number of specific functions, it was necessary to carefully divide the space into small sections accordingly. However, this is a very compact space of only 50 square meters, and so as not to feel closed in  no absolute divisions were made. Instead, the box furnishings, all of the functionality, even so far as air-conditioning units and other facilities, subtly adjusted in height and volume, were carefully placed  as ‘objet’. Their positioning throughout loosely connects the space, while at the same time clearing it for function.
