EDITION GRAND FRONT OSAKA

The interior design plan for Tomorrowland’s (a Japanese apparel company) original brand “Edition” at the Grand Front Osaka. While conventional ideas dictate positioning the stockroom towards the rear to maximize retail floor space, the unique triangular layout of this space with glass window facades on each side, demanded a departure from the norm. By strategically siting the stockroom at the center, we ensured that the store maintains an open and inviting ambiance, effectively serving as the focal point within the standardized commercial environment.

Employing linear volumes, we seamlessly integrated the stockroom box within the triangular layout. The functional elements such as displays, checkout counters, and fitting rooms are meticulously planned around this central core, promoting seamless customer flow and enhancing the overall shopping experience. Furthermore, the installation of a display stage on the facade side facilitates seasonal promotions.

Attention to detail extends to the choice of materials, with sisal carpeting adorning the floor and a textured spray finish applied to the core, reinforcing the brand’s aesthetic identity. By combining practical functionality with aesthetic appeal, the design ensures that the store stands out as a compelling destination within the retail landscape.
