BIJOU DE M ROPPONGI HILLS

An interior design project for the jewelry brand “Bijou de M.” The aim was to create a space that embodies both the strength and delicacy of jewelry in a compact area of just 30 square meters located in Roppongi Hills.

The layout centers around a display case in the middle of the space, efficiently arranging essential elements such as a consultation counter, mirrors, and tables while allowing for a smooth flow throughout the store. A key feature of the design is the extensive use of stainless steel. The client desired a minimal and inorganic space, and in response, we created an environment that not only serves as a backdrop for the jewelry’s various colors but also possesses a texture and hardness that could stand up to the strength of the products.

The central display case, walls, counters, and most of the built-in fixtures are made of stainless steel, inserted into the bare-bones structure of the space. To soften and unify the space, gentle curves were added to the glass edges of the display cases and windows, as well as to the stainless steel fixtures. Additionally, the brand’s signature pink color was used for the carpet and inside the display cases, creating a minimal and inorganic atmosphere while also harmonizing with the brand’s unique blend of strength and delicacy.
